Overview

Ole Miss Sports Properties/Learfield is actively seeking Property Assistants for the 2026-2027 school year.  Our Property Assistants play a key role in the success of Learfield, Ole Miss Athletics, and our partnerships, helping create an engaging game day experience for fans, partners, and the Ole Miss Sports Properties team.  Our highly valued Property Assistants are a critical piece of our team puzzle.

We are looking for organized, responsible, and outgoing individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  We offer a unique experience that will give you hands-on experience in sports marketing and sponsorship execution.  This position provides valuable marketing and sales training within the sports and entertainment industries.

Property Assistants will start at the beginning of the Fall 2026 semester and continue through the end of the Spring 2027 semester.  Property Assistants are paid hourly, with schedules varying based on Ole Miss Athletics events.  THIS IS A PAID POSITION.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with game day and event operations and management, including setup of select in-venue signage, hospitality events/suites, and game day displays
  • Fulfillment of on and off-field/court promotions for corporate sponsors (displays, promotional handouts, contests, etc.)
  • Communicate with various departments as well as Ole Miss Sports Properties sales staff
  • Office and administrative support
  • Handle miscellaneous projects as needed

Qualifications

  • High level of initiative, coupled with the ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to initiate and maintain personal relationships
  • Highly organized; able to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Focus on attention to detail and quality over quantity
  • Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude under pressure
  • Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; savvy with social media
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including all home football games
  • Current student pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or another related field

Physical Requirements

  • The job might require lifting over 25 pounds
  • You may be required to work in reasonable outdoor conditions
  • The position may require you to be on your feet for multiple hours per event

Availability

  • Must be able to work off-hours (weekends, evenings) as necessary related to event schedules, including all home football Saturdays in Fall 2026
