Belinda Stewart Architects (BSA) is a woman-owned and led company experiencing significant growth in preservation, contextual design, and storytelling. We are seeking talented professionals to join our work family in our small-town office (Eupora, MS).  

Our staff enjoys hands-on experiences, opportunities for creative exploration, and meaningful community building. Over the last three decades, we’ve created a portfolio showcasing our desire to invest in communities and tell their stories through design. We specialize in historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and sensitive contextual design. We are currently in our thirty-third year of business and are thrilled to continue working on meaningful projects in Mississippi and throughout the Southeast.

About the position:

We are seeking to hire a full-time Marketing Associate to help continue the successful growth of our firm. This position is salary pay with opportunities to advance your professional career.

Our ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is highly motivated, technically proficient, organized, a team player with a “can do” attitude, and has previous experience in a similar role(s).

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent demonstrated experience
Must have the ability to work well with others, especially department managers, project managers, and anyone involved in business development efforts

Qualifications:

Must have excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
Ability to operate under tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in technology & computers (i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
Proficiency in InDesign is preferred

Responsibilities:

Make direct contacts with leads, prospects, and clients (both potential & current)
Maintain an organized filing system for proposals, including databases
Conduct grant research/opportunities, create & catalog information in a database
Respond promptly to RFQ/RFPs & coordinate consultant information
Help coordinate interviews and presentations
Represent the firm through membership in professional organizations and at conferences, career fairs, etc.
Update and file standardized government forms
Check for potential projects/leads and coordinate with Design Director and Principal
Put together project information for various marketing uses
Coordinate professional photography sessions
Perform any other related marketing, communication, administrative, and researchtasks as required by the Design Director / Principal
