Overview

 WTVA-TV, Heartland Media’s NBC and ABC Television Affiliates in Tupelo, Mississippi is hiring a Digital Sales Coordinator. As a Digital Sales Coordinator, you will provide full-funnel support to the WTVA Sales Department, reporting directly to the Digital Sales Manager, with additional accountability to the Local and General Sales Managers. This position assists the Sales Department through the entire digital sales process, both internally focused and client facing. The ideal candidate is very detail focused, service oriented, coachable, and works well with a team. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Entering and monitoring all digital orders 

• Assist in the development of sales proposals, advertising packages and client presentations 

• Create supportive marketing materials for the Sales Department 

• Effectively communicate with internal team, external clients and service providers 

• Keep progress on active campaign performance 

• Work cooperatively with managers, co-workers and clients to deliver a high-level of service 

• Interact with co-workers, clients and the public in a professional manner, both on the phone and in person 

Required Skills 

• Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment 

• A positive, results-oriented attitude and must be a team player 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products 

• Consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment 

• Strong formal and interpersonal communication skills 

• Must be highly-focused, organized and detail oriented 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred 

• Experience in TV/Radio/Newspaper or other sales related administrative experience is preferred 

• Must have personal insured transportation & valid driver’s license 

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
