Position Overview
The Business & Marketing Intern will be a key member of FUNDI Charter’s outreach and enrollment efforts, supporting initiatives that drive student enrollment and strengthen community partnerships. This role is ideal for an ambitious, results-oriented undergraduate student seeking hands-on experience in marketing, community engagement, and strategic planning within a mission-driven educational organization.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Social Media

  • Assist in developing and executing a content calendar for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to increase engagement and brand awareness

  • Draft engaging copy for social media posts, blog content, and email marketing campaigns targeting prospective families

  • Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Create and curate photo and video content that highlights FUNDI’s STEAM programs, campus culture, and student experiences

Community Outreach & Enrollment

  • Conduct market research to identify community events, local organizations, and businesses for partnership and recruitment opportunities

  • Support the planning and execution of outreach initiatives, including open houses, school tours, and information sessions

  • Represent FUNDI Charter at community events and engage with prospective families to promote the school’s mission

  • Assist with managing the prospective family database and follow-up communications

Business Development

  • Research potential grant opportunities and corporate sponsorships aligned with FUNDI’s STEAM focus

  • Assist in creating marketing materials and presentations for donors and community partners

  • Support leadership in analyzing enrollment trends and identifying opportunities for growth

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Understanding of fundamental marketing principles and strategies

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences

  • Strong interest in education, nonprofits, and STEAM fields
