Position Overview
Join our dynamic marketing team as a Digital Content Creator! You’ll help create engaging social media content that educates customers about automotive financing, showcases our vehicle inventory, and builds community connections across our 16 dealership locations. This role offers real-world experience in automotive marketing, social media strategy, and customer education and you will be in charge of one of the dealerships to generate content for them on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging posts for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok including videos, graphics, and educational content about credit building and automotive financing
- Video Production: Create short-form videos featuring vehicle walkarounds, customer testimonials, and educational content using mobile and basic equipment
- Educational Content: Help develop credit education materials that position our dealerships as trusted financial advisors
- Content Calendar Support: Assist in planning and scheduling posts across multiple dealership locations
- Performance Tracking: Monitor engagement metrics and help compile monthly performance reports
- Customer Stories: Work with customers to collect success stories and testimonials (with proper permissions)
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with company voice, compliance requirements, and brand guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled college student (sophomore level or higher preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, Capcut, or similar tools)
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with quality camera
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing, Communications, Business, or Journalism major
- Previous social media or marketing internship experience
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative, trend-setting content creation
- Experience with scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills
- Photography experience

Work Environment

Sample Weekly Schedule:
- Monday/Tuesday (6-8 hours): Remote work – planning, editing, research, educational content creation
- Wednesday/Thursday (6-8 hours): Dealership visit day – content capture, interviews, collaboration with local teams
- Friday/Weekend (4-6 hours): Publishing, monitoring engagement, performance reporting
