Social Media Intern – Cane’s Baseball and Softball (Oxford, MS)
Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Semesters

Cane’s Baseball and Softball, a local youth league in Oxford, is seeking creative and motivated interns to support our social media efforts for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and posting engaging content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.

  • Capture and share highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and player spotlights to help create lasting memories for players and families.

  • Attend practices and local tournaments to gather photos, videos, and conduct player interviews.

  • Collaborate with coaching staff and league coordinators to maintain a consistent brand voice and message.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in interviewing youth athletes.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to commit 10–15 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Schedule:

  • Approx. 10 hours per week (flexible based on class schedule)

  • Attendance at practices (2x/week, 5–7 PM)

  • Coverage of local weekend tournaments
