Role and Responsibilities:
The Intern Marketing Associate for Integrated Marketing is responsible for supporting the go-to-market strategy and launch. Additionally, the intern will also be responsible for Samsung.com marketing campaigns.
The Intern Marketing Associate will work as a partner with our direct sales team, vertical leads and product leads to identify priority markets and customer segments, understand the addressable market opportunity with market share potential for the products and solutions, develop marketing and sales strategies and campaigns with metrics and reporting coupled with enablement plans to drive Samsung revenue and market share growth.
The Intern Marketing Associate will develop, manage and execute product activations for the Samsung’s Display line of business, on Samsung.com (B2B and B2C) and will also own retailer.com product activations.
This role will assist in developing the promo calendar for Samsung.com along with leading the marketing support for the key drive periods. Focus on customer experience journey on Samsung.com and find ways to optimize the same. It will require strong leadership and project management skills to work with the team to develop integrated campaigns and plans that can include activities such as ABM, digital marketing, content creation, CRM, trade shows, advertising, social campaign, enablement and press releases.
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
- Recent graduate or student currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in the field of Marketing, Communications, or another related business field
- Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present marketing data, analytics, dashboards and reporting materials
- Must be comfortable navigating a complex organization and building cross-functional relationships
- Must be skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities (superior project management skills)
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple project priorities and drive flawless execution in a quickly changing environment
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to communicate your ideas and convince an audience using data and visual storytelling
- Previous experience in developing marketing and sales presentations, using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skill level using these MS Office products is required)
- Must be able to report in to the Ridgefield Park, NJ office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays weekly (firm requirement)
- Must be able to complete the full duration of the internship program (June 1st through August 19th)
