Overview
Objectives of this Position
- Collaborate with the MDWFP leadership team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding approaches for new and existing products, internally and externally.
- Develop, direct, organize and monitor the entire marketing staff team.
- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including developing and managing an annual marketing budget, individual auction projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.
- Understand marketing key performance indicators and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Build, promote and maintain the MDWFP brand and grow the agency’s stakeholder base.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Agency marketing plans to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences
- Lead the strategic execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales
- Hold regular meetings with the Marketing team to resolve challenges, present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure the team consistently performs above standard.
- Attend and participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed and providing post-event reports and analysis
- Develops and implements marketing and communication plans, including: website and social media; interagency communications; public relations/earned media; paid media strategies (traditional, digital and CRM); and coordination/engagement of sponsorships and community events
Education and Experience
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or a related field; plus five years of experience in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or a related field, including two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
